Quite a few years ago and the lake level was starting to come up and Rabbit island was a island again. Bet you could take a boat through there today instead of dragging the bottom of your kayak.

Island opening week. Somewhere under my feet are the ends of those generator cooling water pipes. Have to find the ends, dig them out, hook-up the rest of the pipes so that they reach the water. Some years it is all open beach and some years it is like this.
