Summer and some on the trail Lady Slippers. With all the shoveling and snowblowing I did yesterday, a WS picture was not in the cards.

2009 WS, the Windigo trail crew bunkhouse. It was, the best place to stay while in Windigo. (In the summer, not so much in the winter.)

2009 WS, Beaver island and Windigo.

2009 W.S., Windigo. Just a bit of snow.

2009 winter study, weathered out for flying. Had to get a picture of the flagship with snow on it. Donnie does not let that snow on his aircraft build up at all.

Shipyard's work is done and its back into Lake Superior for the RIII. The Soo Lock's summer bouy's have been pulled by the USCG and placed on shore.

And at the other end of the RIII, the wheels.

Big Blue made it into the graving dock and I am next to the bow thruster.

The RIII heading into the Sturgeon Bay shipyards graving dock. Basically, dry docks float and graving docks are dug. But, Sturgeon Bay's graving dock is what is left of the Sparta, a old freighter that was wrecked in 1940 near Munising and then the salvaged hull was used to make this graving dock.

The RIII tied up the the old Mackinac ferry docks.

Continuing the trip to Sturgeon Bay, on the RIII and headed towards the Mackinac bridge.

The RIII going through the Soo Locks. From 2008's trip to the Sturgeon Bay shipyard for its 5 year inspection.

Fox on the rocks. This was the day before boat day, it was sitting there watching us load our carts. Boat day is when we leave the island at the end of the season.

Another one from Mott's main dock.
