Middle of May moose behind my place. Many times the moose will rub their hair off trying to get rid of the moose ticks that are attached. A engorged moose tick can easily be about the size of the tip of your index finger. Hair on this one still has not come back, but the legs look like it is starting to grow.
A little more of the calm water. And here in Kingsford we are having a warm spell, up to 21 right now and a high of 28 for today, no snow in the forecast for the next ten days either.
Opening crew 2009, Joe and lyle have taken their boat back to Houghton, so we are the only ones left on the island, Thor L., Dave P., Keith B. Ken I. and me.
