Watching three large pork loins an a steamship round of beef go round and round for Christmoose. Every now and then a clove of roasted garlic would pop out and I had to taste, just to make sure things were cooking properly.
Second airplane on the island for 2009's winter study. Donnie and Rolf landed with the Flagship first to make sure there was enough ice for the loaded to the gills Beaver. (Aircraft was full of stuff and John, myself and the pilot, weight was nowhere near capacity.)
To most, this is just a pile of wolf poop. For the researchers, this poop can provide lots of information. Not just what they were eating and how healthy, but it is also used to mark their territory.
