It's clear at the tower and at Mot, not so much.  You have to remember, when heading out on the big lake, "fog is flat". But, your radar and GPS better be in good condition.

On an October walk to the tower, there was a little bit of yellow. 

From a long ago October, a little dusting on Mott and some lake effect snow over the Keweenaw.

Give or take a month, in about 7 months, thimbleberries should start to ripen.
